Your Role:

Have you ever thought about IT jobs abroad? This is a unique opportunity for you to become a founding member of a young team at flourishing venture-backed startup. Senior Software Engineer position will enable you to:

  • Analyze and improve the speed and stability of the company’s website, and constantly evaluate the tools which are used for this;
  • Design and build API integrations to various public and private APIs;
  • Scale & maintain company’s infrastructure in the EU to improve the experience for European visitors;
  • Help Logistics & Storefront teams, keeping all company’s apps online and healthy;
  • Advance the ways to capture, analyze, and act upon data in order to improve our UX and workflow;
  • Look for new ways to improve the business, and be ready to take ownership over their implementation.

Your qualification:

  • At least 5 years of work experience as a Software Engineer (preferably in a startup environment);
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent education;
  • Mastery of Rails or another MVC web framework;
  • Familiarity with JavaScript (we use CoffeeScript);
  • Proficiency with CSS (we use SASS);
  • Expertise in working with PostgreSQL or another relational database;
  • Good at working with Unix command line tools and version-control tools like git;
  • Experience building and expanding web platforms through periods of high growth
  • Expertise in E-Commerce would be a big plus;
  • Able to set priorities, spec out requirements for implementation and manage your time efficiently;
  • Highly motivated, opinionated about the software you build and the tools you use, willing to debate the choices we make as a team.
