Your Role:

Here you will keep the systems running, our users happy and constantly improve the services. Apart from that, as a Linux Administrator you will:

  • Be in charge of our Cloud, Services & Infrastructure internationally;
  • Be engaged in the strategic planning and implementation of our global infrastructure;
  • Closely collaborate with our infrastructure team to take the apps to the next level in terms of automation, cloud & high availability.

Your qualification:

  • A high level of Linux proficiency;
  • Experience of working with Debian / Ubuntu and Gentoo would be a plus;
  • At least 3 years of work experience as a Linux System Administrator;
  • Proven AWS expertise;
  • Experience of working with an automation language (e.g. Puppet, Salt) & minimum one scripting language except Bash (e.g., Perl or Python);
  • Work experience with cloud and virtualization platforms like XEN, VMware & Amazon AWS;
  • Excellent understanding of security concepts as well as familiarity with clustering concepts;
  • Proficiency with High Availability web application is appreciated;
  • Expert in web app architecture design, implementation and maintenance, incl. some server layers for front-end, back-end, caching, load balancing, CDN, etc.;
  • Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts such as Ethernet debugging, network redundancy, etc.
  • Expertise in certificate management and their provisioning;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Able to communicate complex problems between parties with different initial interests for developing common solutions;
  • Previous working experience with the Atlassian tools (such as Jira, HipChat & Confluence), ITIL certification is desirable but not essential;
  • Knowledge of HP or Juniper network devices would be a plus.
