Your Role:

An enthusiastic API developer is needed for the team. Joining them, you will do the following tasks:

  • Build scalable and resilient APIs;
  • Contribute to the company’s growth.

Your qualification:

  • Experience as an API developer in a scripting language such as Python, Scala, Ruby, Kotlin;
  • Proven experience building scalable, reliable and resilient APIs;
  • Understanding of the Git Workflow and branching strategies;
  • Experience working with containers and docker;
  • Understanding of Object Oriented Programming and Functional Programming principles;
  • Expertise in non-SQL databases (MongoDB, CouchDB, Cassandra);
  • Expertise in compression formats (Json, Webpack, ProtocolBuf, Avro, Parquet);
  • Expertise in Memory key store like Redis, Memcache;
  • Expertise in Linux operative systems (CentOS, Ubuntu, CoreOS);
  • Expertise in Cloud Elastic Providers like AWS, Google cloud, BlueMix;
  • Understanding of the REST paradigm;
  • Understanding of the Don’t Repeat Yourself principle;
  • Understanding of Unit Testing and Automation Testing is a must;
  • Good understanding of WebSockets;
  • Hands-on experience with TDD/BDD;
  • Hands-on experience with CD/CI toolsets and continuous delivery pipeline;
  • Team spirit and good communication skills;
  • Fluent spoken and written English is a must;
  • Knowledge of 3 programming languages would be a plus;
  • Flexibility to travel to the US and Mexico;
  • Monitoring Solutions and Infrastructure as Code would be a plus.
