Responsibilities:

• Produce well designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices
• Implement frontend components of a new web application using JavaScript
• Remove bugs, develop new features, create prototypes
• Prepare and maintain software documentation
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
• Build a website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Work together with web designers to match visual design intent

The tech stack being utilized:

• Ruby 2.6, RoR 6.1, Grape, RSpec
• TypeScript, Angular 11
• AWS services: EC2, RDS (MySQL), S3, ElastiCache (Redis), CloudFront, CodeDeploy
• Ubuntu, nginx, Unicorn, Terraform, Ansible

• Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills (5+ years)
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• At least a year of experience with Angular
•  Experience with web application security and best practices
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• You make your own life easy by using CI tools and build systems like Gulp or Grunt
• You're a problem solver with innovative ideas, a curiosity to learn, and a desire to understand systems beyond those you're responsible for
• Upper-intermediate spoken and written English

• Experience with microservices
• Knowing how to play a musical instrument and table tennis :)
