Your Role:
The company is creating a new role within its Amsterdam office to start the Mail & Collaboration team, part of L3 support. You will be reporting to the Co-Head of Corporate Workplace Services.
You will also be able to support your colleagues in the Server Admin team when needed. You will be given a lot of freedom to decide on the best course of action for the different projects and be hands-on in implementing your solutions.
As a Microsoft Exchange Administrator, you will:
Install, configure, and administrate Microsoft Exchange server 2016/2019
Design and deploy Exchange server high availability using the database availability group
Configure and troubleshoot Auto Discover, Offline Address Book, Out of Office, Scheduling & free/busy, Exchange ActiveSync, Outlook Web Access, Outlook Connectivity, amongst others;
Proactively research, learn, and implement requirement-driven messaging technology and best practices
Your qualification:
Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience as a Microsoft Exchange Administrator
Minimum 3 years of recent experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning messaging infrastructure
Extensive experience with products such as AD, DNS and ADFS, Certificate Authority
A DevOps mindset: the will to continue to improve and preferably automate everything
Experience in scripting with PowerShell Exchange and working in Git;
Excellent knowledge in troubleshooting Email routing issues, DAG, End User connectivity issues
Experience migrating from Microsoft Exchange on Prem to Exchange Online (Mailboxes, Migrating the Shared resource and room mailboxes, etc.)
Experience in application integration with mail services
A deep understanding of Microsoft Exchange architecture and features
Proven ability to deliver messaging solutions based upon satisfying defined business requirements
Technical documentation skills
Hands-on experience in deploying a Hybrid Messaging environment is a plus
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
